Mat Incêndio was founded on the conviction that fire protection cannot be treated as an off-the-shelf product. Every operation has its own risks, processes and requirements, and the best solution is the one built from a deep understanding of each client's business.
Since our dedicated engineering division was created in 1991, we have developed, manufactured, designed and implemented fire detection, alarm and suppression systems for some of the most demanding segments of Brazilian industry, including oil and gas, power, mining, marine, data centres and large industrial facilities.
Throughout that journey, building a brand was never the goal. Our focus was always to build an excellent company, made up of skilled professionals committed to the safety of people and to the continuity of our clients' operations. The result of that work was one of the most respected names in fire engineering in Brazil.

Fire engineering in our DNA, since 1940
The group's history began in 1940 with the founding of Sociedade Técnica de Material Contra Incêndio. Engineering of fire suppression systems was present from the start, and gained a dedicated division in 1991.
The company's growth was never driven by marketing campaigns or rapid expansion. It happened naturally, sustained by the trust earned from our clients.
Companies such as Petrobras, Vale, Voith, Equinix, PRIO, Modular and many other large organisations came to trust our work because they found in our team a partner able to understand their challenges and develop effective solutions to protect high-value operations.
